Bright light therapy research and its clinical use continues to grow. Its effectiveness as a treatment option has been shown for a number of conditions including:

- Antepartum Blues
- PMS
- Jet Lag
- Shift work Adjustment
- Sleeping irregularities
- Non-seasonal mood disorders
